Comments: This data set is a collection of polygons representing the roof line of built structures wholly or partially within the State of North Carolina political boundary. The building footprints are closed polygons with a unique identifier and have the square footage calculated. The polygons were not required to be rectilinear (i.e. interior angles = 90 degrees), but they should give an accurate representation of the building when viewed at a scale of 1:1500 in ArcGIS.
