Description: This dataset is a collection of polygons representing the locations of county and town parks, marinas, and beach access areas wholly within the Carteret County political boundary. The parks were mapped using information from the Carteret County Parks and Recreation Department, town websites, the county landmark GIS layer, and internet searches of parks within the county.
